We are looking for an inspirational and hardworking person to join the Security Engineering team at SIE! You'll be joining a team of innovative engineers who are unified in their mission to make PlayStation the best and most secure gaming platform. We achieve these goals by minimizing impact to the platform while ensuring security needs are met. This role is highly technical and requires a shown grasp of security principles and how they are applied to production environments. As a member of the Infrastructure Security team you will assist with the configuration, deployment, and management of cloud-based network infrastructure and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations of our security technologies
• Perform operational tasks and support other internal teams by completing work requests via our internal ticketing system
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and processes within deployment pipelines
• Administration of security tools and services, ensuring they are operating efficiently
• Ensure processes, services, and tooling are abiding by internal security policies and standard methodologies
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures of security operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience (3+ years)
• Previous Linux system administration experience
• Solid grasp of TCP/IP networking and common protocols
• Comfortable with shell (Bash) scripting and Python
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including VPC, ELB, IAM, KMS, EC2, S3, and CloudFormation
• Understanding of how to build secure cloud-based networks and infrastructure
• Experience using HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
• Previous experience automating tasks using scripts and API's is a plus
