Reporting to the Director of Global Security on the Info Security Team, the Security Engineer will be responsible for applying specialized knowledge of container security and orchestration to develop security solutions in multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments and protect our client's most sensitive information. You will work on a dynamic, cross-functional team and employ automation and cybersecurity best practices in AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will schedule, conduct, and regularly review container scans, analyze key risks, and coordinate escalations as required. You will work with industry leading vendors to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate Bullhorn’s goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective container-hosted solutions. 
Your technical expertise will be vital as you help Bullhorn overcome our most difficult challenges by integrating security best practices like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated compliance and security testing, immutable containers, container scanning tools, image remediation, mentor and advise other team members, and end-to-end automated deployments. You'll be able to broaden your skill set into advanced and emerging areas of cybersecurity like zero trust networks, automated incident response, and advanced analytics to support dynamic and secure cloud infrastructure. You will have time split between operational work to keep the established security responsibilities running smoothly and project-based work to help increase the security posture of the organization.

A typical day will include
  • Managing tools such as NeuVector, Docker, Rancher to ensure proper configuration and operation of cloud and Data Center Containers
  • Assisting Security Leadership in projects, including implementation of new tools and monitoring network security systems
  • Managing an enterprise Container and Application Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence Program
  • Helping to formulate and enforcing applicable security policies and employee security training programs
  • Supporting treatment and remediation activities with identified points of contact and system owners, provide risk analysis for identified vulnerabilities and system change requests
  • Reacting and investigating to security alerts and leading the security team in incident responses

  • This role is a fit for you if
  • You have 5+ years Security Experience 
  • You have earned a BA or BS degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science or equivalent
  • You have detailed understanding of securing the end to end image/container lifecycle from image build to production deployment
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, tools, infrastructure-as-code and SRE principles and the intersection with cloud architecture
  • You pride yourself on your awareness of best practices in security, firewalls, network administration, and other aspects of networking
  • Knowledge of designing a comprehensive security program for SaaS applications and Corporate environments including Security Assessments, Risk Management, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, and Security Training
  • Relevant certifications (CKA, CCSP, DCA, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience managing a software defined perimeter technology is a plus
  • Knowledge of a scripting language to automate tasks is a plus
  • Experience managing infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers, network administration, and hybrid environments is a plus
