The Regions Endpoint Security Team is focused on the detection/prevention of anomalous and malicious behavior at the endpoint to ensure a secure computing environment. We are seeking an intelligent and passionate team member to help us stay ahead of the latest malicious activity. The team utilizes clever thinking as well as top end tools and techniques to continuously adapt to an ever evolving threat landscape.

Strong knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:

•Incident response technologies and methodologies

•Configuration and operation of the Windows/Linux/MAC Operating systems

•Scripting languages such as Perl/Python/Powershell

•Application whitelisting and enterprise anti-malware (Configuration/management/rule writing)

•Rule writing in Yara

•Forensic and static malware analysis

•Strong research/analysis skills

•Strong oral and written communication skills

•Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

•CISSP/GIAC and other industry standard certificates a plus

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.Creates new ways to solve existing production security issues

Investigates intrusion incidents, conduct forensic investigations and mount incident responses

Evaluates new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities

Establishes plans and protocols to protect data and information systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction

Delivers technical reports on daily activities

Analyzes and advises on new security technologies and program conformance

Maintains knowledge with current emerging technologies and advancements within Information Security

Takes initiative and responsibility for achieving desired results
