As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our systems, infrastructure, and data from potential threats. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures across all aspects of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure that security protocols and best practices are integrated seamlessly into our products and processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Security Architecture: Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and review security architecture for our products, services, and infrastructure. Identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to enhance overall security posture.
  • Threat Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor security alerts and respond to potential security incidents promptly. Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause of incidents, implement containment measures, and perform post-incident analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Access Control and Authentication: Manage user access control and authentication mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication, to enforce least privilege principles and protect sensitive data.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Assist in conducting security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry frameworks.
  • Security Tools and Technologies: Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of security operations.
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. Conduct research and propose innovative solutions to enhance our security posture.
  • Secure Infrastructure: Work closely with the infrastructure team to design and implement secure infrastructure configurations. This includes cloud environments, container orchestration systems, network security, access controls, and identity management.
  • Security Automation: Develop and maintain automated security testing scripts and workflows to ensure rapid identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities.

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in information security or a related role.
  • Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, encryption, etc.
  • Knowledge of network and system security principles, protocols, and practices.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools, and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
