Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
SAP BASIS and Security Administrator will be key part of the ERP team and will be responsible for maintenance and evolution of our SAP infrastructure in a multi-tier environment. This position will work with both SAP and non-SAP Teams to help build and maintain our SAP Platform to meet the goals of the business while creating reliable, secure and scalable SAP landscapes. In addition to strong SAP BASIS Skills, this individual is expected to support SAP Security by working with our security team to maintain and establish best practices and controls.
This role can be hired remote. Business operations occur on PST timezone.

In this role you will work with teams of people both inside and external partners to deliver on the overall strategy for Arc’teryx. Working alongside a team of experts and agile working professionals, you will deliver solutions to our core ERP that support our growth plans, and strategy.
If you were the SAP BASIS and Security Administrator now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Performing SAP BASIS administrator duties within a cloud-hosted (Rise) environment.Leading the planning and implementation of SAP upgradesAdministrating and monitoring system integrations within the SAP LandscapeRecommending architecture and standards for SAP systems and the overall landscapeConfiguring and executing the Transport Management System (TMS) Supporting the operations of SolMan. Manage System Landscape Information, IT Task Management, Template Management, Test Management, Business Process Modelling activitiesSupporting business needs by creating user IDs, deactivating users, creating new SAP clients, troubleshooting problems Designing, building, testing and deploying SAP roles with associated entitlements, translating functional requirements into technical designMaintaining and coordinating refreshes on multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, quality assurance and production) Developing and maintaining technical documentation for all SAP instances and interfacesIntroducing technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP instancePerforming SAP security maintenance, review and administration including security validations and investigations as needed for audits and other compliance activities for SAP Applications.Raising and tracking support requests to SAP and other external vendors as needed to resolve technical and functional issues

Are you our next SAP BASIS and Security administrator?You have a Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent level of experienceYou have 3+ years’ experience in SAP BASIS Security Administration. You have 5+ years of SAP BASIS experience in managing and supporting complex SAP S4/HANA ERP environments for large scale organizations. You have experience performing SAP upgradesYou have 3+ years’ experience in SAP Security with strong knowledge of multi system landscape architecture designing of roles & authorizations and implementation of complex security framework and role matrix.You are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a teamYou are adaptable and demonstrate forward thinking on new challengesYou are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight timescalesYou have excellent written and verbal communication skillsYou are able to travel internationally as requiredYou are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutionsYou remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguityYou are able to balance autonomy and collaborationYou inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement with an agile mindsetEqual Opportunity
