As America's cyber defense agency, CISA leads the national effort to understand, manage, and reduce risk to our nation's critical infrastructure. As an Executive or Senior Executive in Integrated Operations Division (IOD), you will be responsible for all administrative and integration of operations oversight within the Integrated Operations Division. IOD coordinates CISA operations at the headquarters and regional level to warn entities of imminent cyber-attacks and help them to prepare for and respond to incidents that impact critical infrastructure. Additionally, IOD provides intelligence context to support decision making, performs Agency-designated Emergency Support Functions, and monitors and disseminates cyber and physical risk and threat information to CISA stakeholders 24/7/365. You will oversee planning, personnel, programming, and budgeting decisions to implement division-wide initiatives and support CISA's mission to standardize and expand CISA's presence in the regions to adapt to evolving requirements and coordinates with other divisions on implementation of programs in the field.
As a DHS Cybersecurity Service Employee in the Executive Track, at the Senior Cybersecurity Executive career level, you will apply your technical and executive leadership expertise to lead teams and personnel to:
- Lead the formulation of overall objectives for the IOD, to include all programs, priorities, and policies to support the Director's objectives.
- Coordinate the operational activity of CISA that is focused upon improving the nation's capability and capacity to assess and understand risk.
- Coordinate operations between divisions and regions to ensure rapid and effective response and reporting in the event of cybersecurity or critical infrastructure threats or incidents.
- Work with the Intelligence Community to tailor intelligence products that it receives that meet the information needs of CISA senior leadership and other CISA divisions.
- Represent CISA in DHS operational meetings, providing leadership with awareness of emerging threats and incidents, as well as ongoing operational activities associated with critical infrastructure security and resilience.
- Support the Director and Deputy Director to build and sustain effective and efficient CISA and IOD management organizations, with appropriate performance metrics, capable of supporting the cybersecurity, physical infrastructure security and communications preparedness mission.
- Lead and direct subordinates in the broad areas of EO/EEO, human resources programs, and employee development to ensure IOD's efforts in these areas achieve the goals of the designated programs.
- Lead the organization of resources, including contractors and personnel detailed to the IOD from other DHS organizations and other government agencies.
- Serve as approving authority for costs, schedules, and performance criteria for contracts, agreements with other government agencies, and performance.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Must be able to submit to a drug test and receive a negative result.

- May be required to serve a 3 year probationary period.
Qualifications
- Capable of serving as an executive-level cybersecurity manager who serves as a Component senior functional authority--or DHS-wide leader--and oversees multiple, highly visible Component or DHS cybersecurity programs; or
- Capable of serving as a seasoned cybersecurity executive who serves as a DHS-wide cybersecurity leader overseeing expansive, national cybersecurity programs, and multiple multi-level organizations as direct reports to presidential appointees.
Education
Degrees are not required for jobs in the DHS Cybersecurity Service, but DHS is interested in your level of education and the topics you studied. As you submit initial application information, you will be asked questions about your education.
