Qualifications:

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives

Intellectual humility, willing to accept feedback and direction while keeping an open mind to possibility of multiple solutions existing to the same problem

Excellent knowledge of various web and enterprise technologies, including: Windows, Linux, and network architecture, implementation, and configuration

Experience with a variety of scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and others

Strong demonstrated experience using Python for Restful API, web scraping, analytics libraries

Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources for the purposes of documenting results and analyzing findings to provide meaningful understanding and possible response

Familiar with log analysis and event triage

Ability to develop specific expertise, discern patterns of complex threat actor behavior, and communicate a comprehension of current and developing threats to a wide variety of internal audience

Ability to manage multiple assignments, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines based on mission requirements

Excellent understanding of core network and Internet infrastructure, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, encryption, web and email protocols, and other

A working understanding of cloud technology and security

Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and security principles

A passion for continued learning, research, and expansion of skillsets is essential to the future success of the individual in this role

BA or BS degree or 4+ years of relevant experience working in an enterprise security role

Experience in pentesting and/or vulnerability scanning/assessment a plus

Demonstrated application development/coding experience a plusWorkday is looking for a self-driven Threat Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing internal and external threat intelligence data sets, detect and track emerging threats and security trends. Maintain responsibility for producing timely, accurate, relevant, and predictive intelligence by identifying and reporting on malicious actors, campaigns, and other relevant activities. Deliver timely, actionable information to foster situational awareness, enable proactive decision-making, and promote enhanced active defense measures within the enterprise. Monitor open source information feeds and threat actor activity to identify activity levels and indicators for threats, targets of interest, and possible attack vectors.

The analyst will investigate and research known indicators, correlate events, identify malicious activity, and discover new sources to provide early warning for a variety of threats. This position requires flexibility to occasionally work beyond standard daytime working hours, as situations warrant.

The individual we are looking for must be able to work independently, be creative, but also feel comfortable being a member of a team and contributing their part to the overall success. They must be a self-starter, with confidence in occasionally making decisions based on partial facts while knowing when and how to properly communicate with other teams and individuals. The applicant must also have a strong sense of integrity and responsibility, driving their areas of responsibility to successful conclusions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a threat intelligence role though it is not required.
