Location
The Information Security Business Analyst is required to work 4 days per week on-site at the client offices located at Arlington, VA and provide on-site support. You must be legally authorized to work in the US.  Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship.  

What will you do?
Bixal is seeking an Information Security Business Analyst for an upcoming opportunity. The Information Security Business Analyst will be part of a team to support USAID M/CIO’s Information Assurance transformation into a mature and fully integrated and adaptive Enterprise Information Assurance program. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for providing knowledge in business process and system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts or in translating business process needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Uses available computer systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solution.
  • Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.
  • Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects.
  • Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures.
  • Provides expertise in, but not limited to, Configuration Management, Strategic Planning, Knowledge Management, Business Analysis and Technical Analysis.

    • Qualifications
  • Ability to work onsite 4 days per week during transition with opportunity to change frequency depending on team needs after transition.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 0 –1 years of experience in systems security.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Ability to undergo a background investigation by the U.S. Government and meet eligibility requirements for suitability (secret security clearance).
