We're already in England, France, and Germany, and the new Poland location will act as a global engineering and product development hub alongside our headquarters in Redwood City, California.  

For this role we are looking for an experienced designer who is comfortable working on complex technical features. The new Product Designer will help to solve design problems that have both admin user and end user experience impact. The security posture and compliance of Box is ever important to our customers, especially as data threats continue to rise in the cloud content management space. Our customers are looking to us to ensure their data that’s stored in Box is safe and easy to manage for a variety of use cases. We are advancing our security features to enable admins to manage granular, user-based security policies around things such as Device Trust and 2-Factor Authentication. In the same time we maintain the latest (and ever evolving) data compliance standards to help admins manage their users data at scale.

What experience is needed to be successful in the role:  

• 3+ years of meaningful product design experience. 


• Proficient with standard industry design and prototyping tools (Figma, Creative Cloud, Invision, Principle, etc.) 


• Proficient in design thinking methods to validate and ship meaningful user experiences. 


• Assess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time sensitive manner. 


• A portfolio of outstanding product work that showcases strong visual design, interaction, and typographic skills.


• Must speak English proficiently.  

Requirements that are welcome: 

• Experience participating in usability tests and design sprints. 


• Experience using data and tools to inform design and product decisions. 

 Candidate will be expected to:  

• Craft intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for products and features. 


• Attend and engage in weekly stand-ups, team meetings, manager 1:1s. 


• Work cross-functionally with our product and engineering partners, facilitate design discussions, and ensure design quality.  


• Participate in the full product development process from research to shipment. 


• Represent Box Poland internally and externally.

• 60% design 


• 25% research and documentation 


• 15% meetings
