The Corporate Security Director will  provide global protection of FanDuel employees, customers, assets, and the brand. The role works in close collaboration and partnership with a wide variety of internal/external partners and stakeholders to coordinate policies, procedures, and activities that support the safety and security of the FanDuel Group. This includes a variety of security-related tasks to keep the things that are most important to FanDuel Group, both physical and virtual, safe and secure.


THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play



  • Provide input and direct administrative oversight of the tools, reporting, and programs that will be leveraged by the security team in support of employee and facility physical security needs, venue security, executive/talent protection, incident & crisis management, and SOP's
    Provide immediate response and guidance for incidents involving threats, accidents, thefts, property loss and unlawful activities

  • Partner with Legal, Regulatory and Compliance, and other internal teams for consults, investigations and law enforcement coordination if needed

  • Develop and maintain up to date security procedures and guidelines/policies for executive travel, duty of care, employee travel

  • Conducts Risk, Threat and Vulnerability Assessments and implement practical, efficient and long-lasting protective measures

  • Occasionally brief the Executive team on the status and nature of security risks and ongoing incident investigations

  • Work in cooperation with the Human Resources Department in overlapping matters including but not limited to workplace violence issues, sexual harassment, and workplace employment incidents

  • Research, recommend, develop, and implement corporate security training programs to establish a strong culture of security awareness and proactive mitigation

  • Communicate and raise awareness on the existence and application of process and procedures applicable to workplace safety & security, and other guidelines applicable to physical security operations at the workplace

  • Ensure proper safety & security mitigation methods are in place at all facilities and direct the development and implementation of effective facility planning

  • Provide specific training to employees based on team roles (HR, Customer Service, Retail, Studio, etc)

  • Provide professional customer service to our partners, emphasizing support, education, and teamwork

  • Develop and build an internal team to support the overall Corporate Security program


THE STATS:
What we're looking for in our next teammate



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, like business administration, criminal justice, management, human resources, or homeland and corporate security management and/or equivalent work experience such as 15+ years corporate security or law enforcement with program and leadership roles

  • In-depth knowledge about asset protection strategies, security technology, and risk and crisis management methodologies. Experience with GSOC operations and/or CEM certification a plus

  • Understanding of legal context (criminal law, labor law, rules of evidence, etc. ) and regulatory framework (local, regional, national and international) for corporate security

  • Working knowledge of available OPSINT technology and available networking to mitigate threats regarding (executive protection, public events, workplace, and retail security

  • Experience effectively managing, leading, and communicating initiatives and expectations with a large, diverse workforce, in both physical and remote settings

  • Strong leadership skills to foster employee buy-in of security measures and establishing a culture

  • Proven experience implementing risk-based, intelligence driven security initiatives and evaluating effectiveness through analysis of performance measurements (KPI’s)

  • Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and other governing agencies

  • Create a liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement authorities to enhance relationships that result in a team effort in protecting FanDuel’s personnel and assets

  • Experience managing organizational resources (e.g., budgets, equipment, information).

  • Ability to stay calm in stressful and high stakes situations

  • Self-motivated individual who is comfortable operating with ambiguity in a demanding & fast-paced environment
