Who we are looking for:
Accomplished cyber security professional with a background in Identity and Access Management as well as Data Protection who has demonstrated success in securing initial business as well as growing new business opportunities. The Demand Manager combines technical knowledge with sales skills and applies practical information security experience to address the strategic needs of the client, supporting sales executives, supporting sales enablement and acting as the subject matter expert in Cyber Protection and Identity strategy across multiple competencies.
How you'll make an impact:Maintain expert knowledge of Optiv security service offerings, and can clearly articulate detailed benefits of the Optiv product and service solution portfolio to various client stakeholdersDevelop ability to scope services for Optiv Technology Solutions offerings in the Data Protection space, specifically around capabilities of DLP, PKI, Encryption, Data Governance, and Data Classification.Provide guidance regarding strategic program initiatives for clientsMeet quarterly and annual quota objectives working in partnership with the Sales organizationUtilize sales process to develop account plans in partnership with the Sales organizationAdd value throughout the sales process in the areas of:Requirements analysis and technical qualification of sales opportunitiesSolution development in program and strategic offeringsCoordination of demonstrations and management of prospect evaluationsOpportunity transition to the Professional Services organizationManage and prioritize sales opportunitiesManage and prioritize the proposal process to create SOWs and respond to RFI/RFPsMaintain technical advisor relationship with major client executives by providing thought leadership, support, information, and guidanceMaintain technical advisor relationship with key stakeholders at major clients by providing thought leadership, support, information, and guidanceObtain top tier vendor and industry related certifications
Qualifications for success:Bachelor or higher degree or its equivalent in certifications or work experience - with a preference in STEM, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or other related discipline Minimum of five (5) years in a pre or post-sales capacity within the Data Protection spaceSubject matter expertise in at least three (3) Information Security technology verticals (e.g., Firewall, IPS, DLP, SIEM, Application Security, Web Security)Detailed knowledge of regulatory compliance in the following areas: PCI; GLBA; SOX; HIPAAProven track record of managing technical and high value IT security projectsThorough understanding of the current threat landscapeAbility to listen and communicate effectively with vendors, prospects, clients, Account Managers, and managementAbility to communicate with senior business executives and facilitate high-level business risk discussionsStrong presentation, written, and oral communication skillsHighly motivated self-starter that does not require day-to-day managementValid US driver’s licenseAbility to travel within assigned region
