What We Are Looking For:
The Information Security Program Coordinator will lead the security team in day-to-day tracking and execution with prescribed security program/project management life cycle methodology process. This role will be heavily involved in the program/project management life cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closure of security programs and projects.
What You'll Do:
- Oversees and manages multiple security initiatives with a broad scope, ambiguity, and a high degree of difficulty for the global information security program
- Responsible for ensuring communication, timeline, resource needs, and tasks are in alignment with the security roadmap and expectations
- Maintain visibility into ongoing work and understand the priority of upcoming initiatives
- Interfaces and manages communication with internal and external customers
- Supports the execution of day-to-day work performed by internal and external stakeholders
- Serves as liaison between global program stakeholders, program/project team, and senior management
- Sets tactical vision to achieve global security objectives and key results
- Provides project plans, status reports, and risk assessments to leadership
- Assesses project-level risks, and issues and develops mitigation plans to resolve roadblocks
- Manages complex multifunction relationships across multiple global teams and identifies dependencies between initiatives
What You Need:
- BS in Information Security, Computer Science, Business, or a related field or other equivalent combination of education and/or experience that is focused on Information Security/Privacy or Project/Program management.
- 1 year of project management experience, preferably in information security
- Understanding of information security fundamentals and general security technologies
- Strong organization, prioritization, and rationalization skills
- Extensive understanding of critical project management techniques and an ability to motivate and lead team members
- Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
