Edward Jones is seeking a Technical Architect to lead our mobile security transformation efforts. This individual will be responsible for setting the security enterprise-level technical direction in alignment with our mobile first strategy. By migrating our technology platforms to a mobile first platform, this person will architect and a secure mobile platforms that supports an any device, anywhere, any time strategy.
The Mobile Security Architect will be responsible for working across all mobile areas of Information Systems (IS), providing leadership on technology selection and operational processes for running a enterprise secure mobile environment.
- Must be experienced in creating a strategic cyber security technology direction, aligning it with tactical activities, and communicating plans broadly across the organization
- Must be able to communicate effectively across multiple audiences, including firm-wide business units, senior leaders, associates, external vendors
- Expert knowledge around best practices for hardening Android and iOS platforms.
- Expert knowledge around best practices for secure mobile application development.
- Experience with best practices for securing purchased and free applications.
- mobile application architecture, including authentication, authorization, encryption, logging
- Experience with security testing of applications deployed to mobile devices
- Familiarity with various regulatory requirements and laws, including but not limited to: Payment Card Industry (PCI), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). Additionally, experience in one or more of the following: ISO 27001/2, ITIL or NIST is preferred
Position Requirements :
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity as a practitioner
- 5+ years of experience with hardening iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with various regulatory requirements and laws, including but not limited to: Payment Card Industry (PCI), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA).
