The Sr. Industry Marketing Manager - Oil & Gas is responsible for building and driving the company’s marketing strategy across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors and leads the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing program to achieve the awareness and lead generation objectives within the target verticals.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, our ideal candidate is a product marketing professional with experience in and a deep understanding of ICS/OT and related cybersecurity challenges. You will speak the language of CISOs and security practitioners as you collaborate across the marketing team to create authentic, compelling, and cutting-edge content that drives thought leadership and awareness and educates sales and other internal departments. The industry marketing manager is the go-to expert for market trends and works closely with cross-functional departments to support all areas of market development, including marketing communications, sales, presales, solution providers, and product management. The manager is also actively engaged in the Oil & Gas industry and will be the Dragos spokesperson at conferences and events.

Responsibilities:
- Design, create and execute the marketing strategy to drive awareness in the Oil & Gas industry, across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments
- Build and maintain content including white papers, e-books, datasheets, presentations, and other sales enablement tools
- Maintain competitive awareness and develop strategies for competitive differentiation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement marketing campaigns —from content creation through to execution
- Work with Customer Success to drive customer referrals, testimonials, and case studies
- Lead and deliver industry-specific solutions training to Dragos sales team and resellers
- Collaborate with Event Marketing and Business Development teams on industry trade show strategy, plan marketing webinars, and generate marketing qualified leads
- Gain insight from customer engagement on their needs and product capabilities and collaborate with product management to prioritize and incorporate into the Dragos product roadmap.
Requirements:
- Strong marketing experience, with significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry in marketing, sales, business development, consulting, or strategy role
- Deep experience in and knowledge of cybersecurity and how it relates to digital transformation in Oil & Gas operations
- Deep understanding of business practices and customs of asset owners and operators in Oil & Gas organizations, with experience across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external teams
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $130,000
- Base + Benefits + Equity = $190,000
