Listing Description

We are seeking a Security and Compliance Engineer to join the Palta security team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help define and shape the security initiatives for our organisation, and then work on implementing them. You’ll be reporting to our CISO and you’ll work closely together with them to deliver on the security strategy.

You’ll need to be someone who is comfortable working in ambiguous situations where there is no clear right answer, and you’ll have (or be on the way to developing) a deep understanding of security and compliance best practices.

There’s an opportunity to design the role around your strengths and areas you’d like to work in, but we think the key responsibilities would be something like this:

  Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security controls and technologies

  Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and providing recommendations to mitigate risks

  Creating dashboards and using data from disparate sources to maintain visibility of security risk

  
  


• 
  

  Working across the Palta group to help meet security and compliance objectives

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards
