TEAM
We (Production Infrastructure Security Team) are responsible for the cyber security of the Woven Planet cloud infrastructure. We’re passionate about cloud and kubernetes security and work closely with our IT teams to deliver the best UX to our developers. 

The team size, including you, is 6 engineers. We’re practicing scrum and delivering value to our customers together. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Security Intern with experience in cloud and kubernetes security. We follow the philosophy of “security as code”, so you are expected to automate most of your work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, deliver and support security-focused solutions for AWS, GCP, Azure and kubernetes
  • Assist development and operations teams in developing secure architectures
  • Implement and maintain security automations to scale our security efforts
  • Communicate effectively at multiple levels of sensitivity, and multiple audiences
  • Have fun!

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar major with an expected graduation date March 2023 – March 2024
  • Must be available for a 3-month on-site internship in the summer of 2022
  • Engineering or development experience
  • Experience with either AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Proven experience with Terraform, Python and Bash
  • Proven experience

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in working with EKS or GKE clusters
  • Proven experience with automation and DevSecOps 
  • Proficient in Python, Terraform and Bash
    • WORKING CONDITIONS
    NOTE: This internship program is intended only for those who are located in Japan with valid working visas since the program is expected to be onsite.
    Start Date: You can choose to start from several start dates, July 15, August 1, August 22, or September 1, 2022 
    Internship Duration: 3 months 
    Timing: 3-5 days on weekdays
    Salary: Hourly wage
     *The salary will be varied depending on individual experience and skills.
    Work Location: Nihonbashi (Head office), Higashifuji
    *Travel/Accommodation support will be provided for those students who are outside of the Tokyo region.
