Garda is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer based in our Geneva office who will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of security systems to provide a stable, secure technical environment. This position reports to the Global Head of Infrastructure.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop security policy and standards in alignment with industry standards and best practices
- Design, implement, and maintain security architecture for systems, networks, and applications to ensure they meet security and compliance standards.
- Vulnerability and Patch Management
- Perform vendor risk assessments
- Lead incident response efforts
- Build partnerships and collaborate with key stakeholders in Wayzata and other key Garda offices.
- Take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- Adapt approach and demeanor in real-time to match shifting demands and situations
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and stay calm under pressure
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- 7+ years in a hands-on infrastructure engineering\architecture role
- Proven experience in securing Linux and Windows operating systems
- Proven experience in securing cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion, penetration testing, security risks, etc.
- Experience with security tools like vulnerability scanners, SIEM systems, endpoint protection, etc.
- Experience with Identity and Access management
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well alone and in a team setting
