Job Title: Cybersecurity Risk and Policy- General Manager

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead our risk and policy function. The General Manager of Cybersecurity Risk and Policy will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and maintaining the risk register. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Expectations/ Requirements
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on risk management and policy development.
· Develop and implement a risk management strategy to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks across the organization.
· Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
· Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily work.
· Work closely with other members of the cybersecurity team to develop and implement effective security controls and risk mitigation strategies.
· Monitor and report on cybersecurity risks and incidents, providing regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
· Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk management plans to address identified risks.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging cybersecurity threats, and make recommendations for appropriate action.
· Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management methodologies.
· In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
· Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of cybersecurity professionals.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess complex cybersecurity risks.
· Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
· Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.) would be an advantage.
