Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Program Manager to support our Security team. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work will be dynamic and wide-ranging supporting Engineering leadership and Program Management in the security and accreditation of our current product, Game Warden.

As our Cybersecurity Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the security and accreditation aspects of Game Warden and other future products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Engineering, Customer Operations, Product Management, Growth and others, to ensure timely accreditation of new environments and continued accreditation of existing environments.

Note: This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leading the cybersecurity team: Act as the team’s scrum master to manage agile sprint ceremonies, groom the security team backlog, and communicate execution priorities while balancing short term needs against long term goals. 
  • Collaborating with stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the security strategy is aligned with the company's overall business strategy. This may involve presenting security posture and accreditation updates to senior executives, working with engineering teams to implement required controls, and briefings to key government officials or auditors. 
  • Creating product roadmaps: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the product's development and release schedule. This may involve setting deadlines, prioritizing features, and determining milestones.
  • Defining product requirements: Work with cross-functional teams to define the technical requirements for the product. This may include creating user stories, wireframes, and prototypes, as well as collaborating with engineers to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Managing the Game Warden customer security experience: Oversee the security process to ensure the customer onboarding experience is streamlined and effectively evaluates SaaS security posture in accordance with GW PaaS requirements. This may include communicating with the Customer Operations team, directly with customers, and tracking project status. 
  • Tracking performance: Track key security metrics, such as security events and team productivity, to evaluate the product's performance and make data-driven decisions about future trade-offs.

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in a Program Manager role at a high growth company or Department of Defense software program
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies and Cloud-Based Infrastructure Cybersecurity practices
  • Experience managing efforts required (both technical implementation and policy) to obtain and maintain Department of Defense cybersecurity accreditation (preferably cATO, NIST 800-53, and/or FEDRAMP)
  • Experience with GitLab or other roadmap tools to plan/manage projects, epics, stories and tasks
  • Familiarity with developing and documenting process (experience with markdown is a plus)
  • Technical cybersecurity experience (ability to effectively communicate with technical stakeholders)
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Self starter

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Gitlab
  • Experience with markdown
  • Former experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or managing successful DoD accreditations strongly preferred
  • Security Clearance strongly preferred
  • Have a strong interest in matters of national security
