Overview
The Retail and Hospitality ISAC (RH-ISAC) is the trusted cybersecurity community for retail and consumer-facing industries with a mission to mitigate cyber risk by establishing trust, expanding knowledge, and maturing capability through information and intelligence sharing. With the shared information of worldwide leading brands – including traditional retailers, online commerce, QSRs, drug stores, convenience stores, gaming casinos, lodging, consumer product, and more – the RH-ISAC helps companies build better security through collaboration.
The vice president (VP) of intelligence operations is a member of the RH-ISAC’s leadership team and participates in the strategic planning process of the organization. The VP reports to the president of the RH-ISAC and is responsible for the continued maturation and evolution of our Intelligence Operations in order to meet our objectives to deliver member value, drive growth and build awareness of the RH-ISAC’s mission and vision to reduce cyber risks to retail and hospitality sectors.

As a member of the Leadership team, assist with setting strategy, goals and objectives for the organization
· Work with the Leadership Team to develop and execute the organization’s three-year strategic plan.
· Ensure alignment of Intelligence department goals and objectives within RH-ISAC’s strategic planning process.
· Lead engagement and act as a thought partner to C-level members, government agencies and strategic partners to support continual information sharing improvements to lead and advance the industry.
Lead the maturation of the intelligence department in order to achieve organizational goals and assist the organization in fulfilling its vision and mission
· Develop and execute the strategy to continue to mature the collection, analysis, production, dissemination and ongoing iterative feedback components of the member shared intelligence and capabilities to support members in the identification and mitigation of cybersecurity risks and threats while adhering to sharing protocols to protect information and the confidentiality of sources.
· Ensure alignment of intelligence operations’ objectives and strategies with the board of directors by overseeing the Intelligence & Engineering Steering Group.
· Develop and lead the organization’s intelligence staff, ensuring directors are managing day-to-day tasks and functions to support the sharing of cybersecurity intelligence and indicators between RH-ISAC members and where appropriate, government agencies, law enforcement other industries and ISACs.
· Measure the effectiveness, timeliness and quality of intelligence products.
· Develop and continually evolve the RH-ISAC information sharing platform to include inter-personal exchanges as well as technological capabilities to support and enable effective information sharing, including structured and unstructured data.
Oversee the enterprise security and incident response plans of the organization
· Develop and maintain the enterprise security management and incident response plans for the RH-ISAC.
· Test the organization’s incident response plan at least on a bi-annual basis
· Represent the RH-ISAC in tactical cross-sector and sector-wide activities, including incident response and coordination.
Oversee the development and growth of Intelligence department staff
· Train, develop and manage the Intelligence department staff to execute in alignment with organizational priorities.
· Discuss and develop professional development plans for staff.
· Ensure human resources policies and practices are followed.
Manage the intelligence department budget
· Oversee the management of intelligence budget to stay within the approved budget.
· Oversee consulting/outsources resources to ensure they stay within the approved statement of work.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Have a strong background in cybersecurity, risk management, intelligence, or a related field
· Experience in building an intelligence program
· Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, including setting vision and objectives, managing outcomes and performance, employee development and coaching
· Have excellent writing and communication skills
· Demonstrate experience managing projects and engaging with clients, partners, and vendors
· Have a passion for connecting with and supporting members
