About the Role
The Security Lead is a member of the Global Security Team (GST) in a regional location, and helps support the provision of holistic security and risk management services at multiple WeWork locations. This position reports to the Regional Security Manager based in the assigned territory (in this case, LATAM).
Responsibilities
The Security Lead helps support holistic security management for WeWork, to include physical security, crisis management, and technological and operational security design and implementation. The Security Lead's main responsibilities involve administration and maintenance of multiple systems, to include access control, CCTV, service management systems and ticketing software. WeWork locations and members are our core clients, and the largest priority for this role is enabling new building openings and ensuring the security of established locations through such work.
The Security Lead will help enable the GST to carry out its core mission statement, which is to secure and safeguard the WeWork member community's passion to succeed while doing what they love.
Duties & Responsibilities
Daily administration and maintenance of current service agreements
Manage all service requests for repairs, maintenance and projects
Manage the regional security Salesforce (helpdesk) ticketing system
Troubleshoot security problems and assess the need for external service
Assign access cards to new employees, cleaners and contractors
Schedule dates for service, work reviews and building reviews
Assist in the execution of security upgrade projects
Track trends in tickets and service needs to assess changes in our hardware or applications
Support new building openings by providing risk assessments, drawings reviews and physical security expertise
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion of service/projects
Facilitate the completion of new building-opening checklists and follow on maintenance schedules
Experience
5+ years experience in Security operations in a corporate environment
Demonstrated experience managing (installing, programming, and troubleshooting) access control software
Experience managing and/or monitoring CCTV systems
Experience with helpdesk applications and service management software
Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addresses, MAC addresses)
Highly proficient in all Microsoft applications - have the ability to learn and use new platforms
Ability to liaise in a professional manner with WeWork members, execs, and external safety and security organizations
Demonstrated high level attention to detail and strong organization skills
Ability to multitask across multiple platforms, departments, time zones, and cultures when necessary
Understanding that Security is a 24/7 function - working nights and weekends may be required on occasion as well
Intermediate English
Preferred Experience
Experience with S2 Access Control System
Experience using Salesforce ticket management system
Experience with Google apps and programs
