The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Security Project Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for partnering with project teams, developers, and architects to engineer solutions that increase the security posture within the cloud and security products.  As the Director of Security Project Engineering, you will oversee a team of engineers and provide leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of security projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams, developers, and architects to engineer solutions that increase the security posture within the cloud and security products
  • Lead a team of security engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions for the company's cloud and security products.
  • Partner with project teams, developers, and architects to ensure that security is a top priority in all projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team to ensure theyhave the necessary skills and knowledge to execute security projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security projects are aligned with the overall security strategy and roadmap
  • Respond to security incidents and breaches.

  • Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in security engineering.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with security products such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and web application firewalls.
  • Experience with security frameworks such as CIS Controls and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
