WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
We are looking for a Physical Security Operations subject matter expert who can help build a program for scale while also being a dedicated hands on professional. The areas of responsibility for this role are diverse but offer the ability for a successful individual to add their own personal touch and influence to each pillar. You will be involved in setting the expectations of the program, documenting it for future generations and executing on it today.


The Physical Security Team is a small, close-knit group who work across various time zones focused on ensuring the safety and security of all our Boxers globally. Internally, each team member supports one another to produce the best program we can at Box. We are focused on data driven results while providing an exceptional customer service experience.


WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Oversee and manage Emergency Management and Workplace Violence Programs.

  • Oversee and manage Travel, Event and Executive Security.

  • Work with various departments within Box when conducting or assisting with investigations,

  • Generate metrics and dashboards to highlight accomplishments and success within areas of responsibility.

  • Ability to identify risks and develop mitigation measures before the realization of risks.

  • Create concise documentation, presentations and reports to promote the Physical Security Operations Program.

  • Able to forecast budget spend to maintain successful programs.



WHO YOU ARE


Required:



  • 7+ years of Physical Security Operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Familiarity with situational awareness, mass communication and enterprise corporate applications

  • Confidence to work and communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to travel up to 10%


Preferred: 



  • Ability to balance shifting priorities with a focus on delivering on predefined SLA’s.

  • Recognized security accreditation (CPP, PSP, CISSP)

  • Ability to support decisions with facts and evidence while exhibiting sound judgement that aligns with company and department priorities.
