Role Summary
Sophos is rapidly shaping the landscape of cybersecurity products and services and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants to take their career to new heights with us. 

As part of the End user Security Group (ESG), you will work on our flagship Sophos Intercept X Endpoint Protection product line. You’ll be a highly visible member of the team, partnering closely with high-caliber software engineering teams and other key stakeholders to build innovative solutions that solve real-world customer problems.

Ideal candidates will be technical, particularly in the Microsoft Windows space, and have a proven background in building market-leading products and services. You’ll possess a blend of technical acumen and big-picture vision that you can communicate clearly to stakeholders including customers, partners, and industry analysts. 


What You Will Do
  • Engage customers, partners, and sales stakeholders to uncover pain points, user needs, use cases, and opportunities as they pertain to Sophos’ next-generation Endpoint Protection offerings.
  • Lead development of requirements and user stories with engineering teams, prioritizing and managing product backlogs for delivery.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with key influencers and leaders (e.g., Engineering leaders and Sales Engineering) to inform and execute against product priorities.
  • Manage expectations with Product Management leadership providing status, action plans, and recommendations.
  • Work with Engineering teams to ensure that delivery projects are tracking to plan and that any issues are addressed promptly or escalated to senior management for resolution.
  • Act as point of contact for the Product Management team during the product delivery lifecycle providing leadership and decisions.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers and teams within Sophos, identifying synergies, and flagging dependencies and risks to deliver cross-product integrations.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors’ product offerings and assist in identifying market opportunities and gaps to ensure that Sophos products remain competitive and differentiated in the market.

  • What You Will Bring
  • Significant experience in senior product management roles, with responsibility for SaaS-managed offerings, delivering outcomes for global customers.
  • Subject matter expertise in cybersecurity products and the Endpoint Protection market.
  • Track record of preparing and presenting technical roadmaps to internal and external audiences, prioritising product backlogs, and contributing to product strategy.
  • The ability to solicit and develop requirements with customers for business-focused outcomes, and to work closely with agile engineering to design and deliver user-centric solutions. 
  • The ability to make and communicate trade-offs and prioritization calls, and the courage to recommend and defend tough decisions with data.
  • Self-motivated mindset to proactively identify and solve challenges, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills to interface successfully with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, across multiple time zones and functional domains.
