Tasks/responsibilities

Provide a development service that designs, implements and tests the connection of a Vulnerability and Compliance Scanner to a Workflow System

Document your developed code to meet various internal and regulatory requirements

Implement the integration of different security data streams into the workflow and tracking system

Act as test engineer to ensure developed code is tested and create unit tests ahead of module development

Evaluate, discuss, and implement new software solutions to meet organizational goals

Troubleshoot and debug across multiple systems and technologies

Technical Skills:

Programming expertise in Python 3 (Groovy, Java or Go as a plus)

Diligent in unit testing and applying test driven development

Confident working with REST APIs

Experienced using SQL databases (PostgreSQL and MS SQL) for data management

Strong ability to understand and modify existing codebases

Skilled in the usage of software design patterns

Knowledge about agile software development lifecycles

Experience with workflow tools, preferably Atlassian Jira

Familiarity with Git and GitHub (or similar) for repository management, pull requests, code reviews etc.

Familiar working with Linux and Windows systems as well as command line shells

Performing Security by Design using security best practices

Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus

Personal skills:

Excellent collaboration within a team

Very good communication skills in in written and spoken English (German as a plus)

Flexible, independent, and self-motivated

Effective organizational skills
