OVERVIEW 

Full-time/Permanent Employee 
Location: Reston, VA 

The candidate will have the necessary breadth of experience and depth, across information assurance and security disciplines, with a working knowledge of the policies and procedures required to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all categories of information. The candidate will apply this knowledge when establishing, implementing, and monitoring data security policies. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact regarding all day-to-day organizational cybersecurity-related issues. The candidate will be committed to continuous learning because of the constant, developing nature of cyber-attacks. The candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills in order to interface with individuals of all levels of management.   

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Years of Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience - may consider additional experience in lieu of degree 
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Experience establishing, documenting, and monitoring an organization’s cybersecurity program implementation 
  • Experience performing oversight of policy standards and implementation strategies to ensure procedures and guidelines comply with cybersecurity policies 
  • Experience performing vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation 
  • Experience generating and maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation to obtain Approval to Operate for Collateral and higher classification information systems 
  • Experience managing access applications and system access control technologies 
  • Experience generating and managing compliance with protection requirements, control procedures, incident management reporting, remote access requirements, and system management for all systems as well as use of encryption for protecting Sensitive Unclassified Information (SUI) including Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and classified information 
  • Experience executing plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans that are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc. 
  • Experience performing configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware 

    • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Implementation of DISA STIGS or CIS Benchmarks 
  • Familiarity with the ICD503, CNSSI1253, NIST SPs 800-37, 800-53, etc. 
  • Knowledge of computer forensics tools and investigative methodologies 
  • Experience supporting various computer hardware and multiple operating systems in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations
