As a Security Compliance Engineer at JioCinema, you will be responsible for ensuring our digital platforms meet top security standards. You’ll manage compliance initiatives, conduct audits, and work with teams to maintain adherence to frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors and stakeholders, you’ll also drive security awareness across the organization. Reporting directly to senior management, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and safeguarding our security strategy

What will you do?
  • Lead Compliance Audits: Manage and execute end-to-end security compliance audits, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up for both internal and external audits. Ensure all security protocols and processes are in line with the latest industry standards.
  • Develop and Maintain Compliance Programs: Design and implement comprehensive security compliance programs that align with ISO and other relevant certifications. Continuously monitor and update these programs to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including IT, legal, to ensure alignment on compliance objectives. Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and partners to maintain and enhance the company's compliance posture.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess compliance risks, and work with the relevant departments to mitigate these risks. Provide strategic insights to improve the company’s security framework.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, compliance gaps, and risk assessments. Present these findings to senior management and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on security compliance requirements and best practices. Promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, regulations, and best practices in security compliance. Continuously enhance the company's compliance framework and processes.

    • Who should apply for this role?
  • Experience: 7- 10 years of hands-on experience in security compliance, with a strong background in managing compliance audits and programs in product-based companies.
  • Certifications: Possess relevant compliance certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar. A deep understanding of these frameworks and their application in a corporate environment is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working in the product development sector, preferably with exposure to media or digital platforms
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders. Comfortable working as an individual contributor with the ability to report directly to senior leadership.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage compliance projects independently. A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management is crucial.
  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of information security principles, technologies, and methodologies. Able to translate technical requirements into business objectives.
  • Compliance Mindset: A passion for maintaining the highest standards of security compliance and a commitment to continuous learning in the field.
