The Security Program Lead is responsible for technical leadership and personnel management of a service delivery practice area within one of the consulting services divisions.  The Security Program Lead ensures that appropriate methodologies are in place, current and enforced for the execution of the services aligned under the practice division.  The Security Program Lead also provides delivery quality oversight from a technical and leadership perspective to include enforcement of the defined methodologies as well as preliminary deliverable review to ensure content is appropriate, comprehensive and addresses the requirements of the project. 

How you’ll make an impact:
  • Be responsible for both delivery oversight on projects and for development of resources under your supervision. In the Application Security Solution Area, you will be aligned with an existing or developing Center of Excellence (COE).   
  • Build and consistently improve COE-related Intellectual Property (e.g., document templates, best practices, and sales support tools). You will work with the Practice Director to maintain vendor relationships across vendor support, engineering, training, and product marketing. You will be expected to work closely with the Application Security PMO to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality of delivery. 
  • Manage assigned projects with a clear understanding of business and IT context.
  • Drive cross-functional enterprise projects by leading high performing, often globally distributed teams. 
  • Work with regular guidance from senior program management leadership, scrum master, product and system owners.  
  • Perform core project management duties, including: Guiding the project through formal approval and funding and risk reporting, Assisting with developing a detailed project plan that includes a detailed budget, project timeline, detailed task-driven schedule, project RACI and resource plan, communication plan, Maintenance of log of tasks, issues and risks for the project including key dependencies, ownership, and due dates, Managing project execution from analysis/design through build, test, and deployment.
  • Develop and provide reports for client teams on periodic basis to report on the overall status of the agreed services.
  • Report/escalate issues that may impact schedule and/or budget.
  • Confirm Project Status reporting is relevant, transparent, and adds value.
  • Partner with relevant IT and business managers to verify that the project has the skillsets and resources required for delivery.

  • Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Strong understanding of Application security concepts.
  • 3+ years of experience with Program and/or Project management.
  • 5+ years of information security and/or professional services experience.
  • 3+ years of professional services leadership experience.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills. 
  • Self-starter with strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities. 
  • PMP or Scrum certifications desired.
  • Experience delivering and leading professional services engagements. 
  • Understanding of current cyber security trends, threats, and pressures experienced by customer security leaders.
  • Strong desire to grow and mentor individuals both within and outside of COE(s.)
