What you will do:

Rumble is currently seeking a Security Operations Center Manager. This position will be responsible for managing the Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel as well as creating, maintaining, and enforcing all SOC policies, processes, and procedures. A successful candidate will be an experienced individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. Additionally they will be able to maintain composure and make informed decisions under stressful situations.

The Security Operations Center Manager will be responsible for:

• Lead a global 24x7 SOC team in a rapidly expanding service provider organization 


• Lead and mentor SOC Engineers in daily operations as well as during special events 


• Set operational goals and expectations for the SOC team 


• Drive collaboration between all the individual teams that are responsible for overall operations and security of the organization 


• Coordinate with leaders across the organization to drive best security practices 


• Lead the incident response effort during identified incidents 


• Creating new operating procedure for the SOC as deemed necessary 

Required Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 5+ years in Information Technology 


• Experience managing or leading a SOC with 24x7 operational requirements 


• Experience generating security reports and briefing to appropriate individuals 


• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills 


• Expert level knowledge of typical SOC tools and operations 


• Expert level knowledge of Cyber Security concepts as well as general IT operations in a service provider organization 


• Expert level knowledge in Incident Response handling procedures 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• CISSP or similar certifications or equivalent education 


• Experience with managing a SOC using Open Source tools 


• Previous actual Incident Response event management, not just tabletop exercises 


• Significant knowledge of networking functionality and protocols 


• Previous experience supporting Linux OS 

Desired Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or similar field. 


• Experience enforcing compliance frameworks (PCI, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) 


• Experience completing audits for compliance frameworks
