We are currently seeking an investigative, analytical and responsive Security Officer to join our join our security department.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
  • Assisting in the implementation of Company security procedures; dealing with a wide range of situations as they occur, no two days are ever the same!
  • Thoroughly investigating all incidents, ensuring follow-up and implementation of the required corrective actions, in conjunction with the Security Manager
  • Carrying out regular patrols of all external and internal areas across the venue, reporting any issues and following these through to resolution
  • Supporting every area of our business, ensuring the successful co-ordination of all security and loss control issues, you’ll be making sure best practice is implemented at all times
  • Providing first aid response and accident investigation
  • Liaising with Enforcing Authorities where necessary, working with them to ensure satisfactory resolution to all reported incidents
  • Operating CCTV in compliance with Data Protection legislation
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

  • A natural communicator, you’re able to engage and influence at all levels
  • You hold a valid SIA door supervision licence
  • Unafraid to ask difficult questions and you have a proven ability in constructively challenging undesirable behaviour
  • Working under pressure, and making quick decisions in highly stressful situations, are second nature to you
  • You’re results-orientated, delivery-focused, hands-on and have excellent attention to detail; you ensure a flexible and adaptable approach in line with our business needs, delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external customers and contractors
  • Constantly learning is really important for you; and you’re able to adapt and systematically move your scope from detail to broader risks and issue management
  • You’re proficient in using IT systems, particularly Word and Excel; you’ll also be working with a number of applications in relation to CCTV/Access Control/Fire
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
