Purpose
The Information Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security and protection of the organization's assets, systems, and data. This role requires a high level of expertise and proficiency in implementing and maintaining security measures to mitigate risks and safeguard against potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's assets, systems, and data
  • Develop a complete set of corporate Information Security policies and standards and continually monitoring the correspondent controls and KPIs
  • Support on regulatory and compliance reviews, certifications, and accreditations required by Kueski
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measures
  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, promptly responding to and investigating any potential breaches or threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security awareness and training programs for employees
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of incident response plans and procedures
  • Participate in security incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders on security-related matters
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and guidelines

  • Position Requirements:
  • Experience in Security controls design, implementation, and audit
  • Experience in Security Process and Policy documentation
  • Relevant experience or formal education in security or some certification in security or data privacy (ISO27001, PCI, Cobit., COSO, etc.)
  • Relevant experience in Security Risk Analysis
  • You must really like the process, standards and regulations
  • Relevant experience in Best Practices for Corporate Governance
  • Relevant experience in project planning to accomplish implementation plans with all Kueski areas
  • Fluent in English, both in writing and talking
  • Experience in design, document, implement and follow-up for security controls as for a Certification Process like ISO27001 or PCI-DSS
  • Knowledge of security best practices
  • Experience performing IT and security control audit or receiving and answering internal or external audit
  • Experience in Performing Information or Security Risk Analysis
