UltraViolet Cyber is seeking a Cloud Security Posture Management Analyst (CSPM) who will support the onboarding of a cloud security posture management solution. This role requires a balance of experience in analytical and cloud implementation. Triaging responding to and tuning alerts generated by the CSPM solutions. 

No third-party candidates will be considered

Responsibilities
  • Detection Method and Automation: The analyst is responsible for researching, building, and implementing various detection methods and code automations to identify technologies as part of the vulnerability management offering. This involves creating systems and processes to identify and manage vulnerabilities in cloud environments.

  • Cloud Service Analysis: The analyst will analyze cloud services, APIs, and log payloads to ensure that the organization is meeting industry standards and customer needs. This involves monitoring and assessing the security posture of cloud services.

  • Staying Current: Staying up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends is essential in the field of cybersecurity, as threats and best practices are constantly evolving.

  • Collaboration: The role requires working collaboratively with the Research and Backend teams, indicating a need for teamwork and communication skills to ensure the successful implementation of security measures.

    • Required Experience:
  • SOC Experience: Experience within a Security Operations Center (SOC) is required, suggesting a background in cybersecurity operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in a variety of technical tools and languages including Linux, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), PowerShell, and understanding of the OSI model indicates the need for technical skills.
  • Networking and Cloud: A strong foundation in networking and cloud technologies is expected, which is crucial for securing cloud environments.
  • Cybersecurity: Cybersecurity experience is mentioned as a requirement, which is understandable given the nature of the role.
  • Independence and Teamwork: The role expects the candidate to be an independent self-learner who can work both independently and as part of a team, which indicates a need for self-motivation and the ability to collaborate.
