We are looking for a competent Security Supervisor to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff, goods and equipment. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior

Job Descriptions:
  • Assist with all security activities with responsibility for the day to day activities of your team. 
  • To assist security manager & Investigation Officer to manage the overall security related issues. 
  • Responsible for CCTV review and lost investigations. 
  • Ensuring that the organization meets all required security and associated health and safety objectives 
  • Monitoring & managing security systems and equipment servicing and/or maintenance in conjunction with other departments, as appropriate 
  • Assist with managing the performance of the security team and its individual members. 
  • Effective liaison, support and assistance between security department and remainder of organization 
  • Maintain and improve mechanisms for risk assessment and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities. 
  • Conducting interviews with potential witnesses and the subjects of investigations.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties including local law and other enforcement authorities, as necessary to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the investigation process. 
  • Monitor and identify any illegal activities. 
  • Monitor and supervise security assistant and supervisor on securing the warehouse.
  • Contribute towards developing plans for security activities. 
  • To complete comprehensive investigation reports and case files 
  • Support to all other departments with security and related issues– subject to agreed criteria, recruitment, training, set action and targets, appraise and manage performance, development, coaching and general support of all team members to ensure targets are met 
  • Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a daily basis as agreed
  • Assist with developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve agreed targets 
  • Assist with preparation and agreement of individual action plans and targets for all team members 
  • Carry out presentations relating to security 
  • Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review 
  • Set an example for team members of commitment, security knowledge, work ethics and habits and personal character 
  • Maintain accurate records 
  • Control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls 
  • Adhere to all organization policies and procedure 
  • Interact and cooperate with all members of the organization, its suppliers and clients/customers
  • Responsible for overall security issues & conduct investigations for all northern region Regional Sort Centre and Stations.

  • Requirements:
  • Possess at least a Diploma in any field or certification in Security Management
  • Required at least 3 years of experience in relevant field 
  • Ability to handle crisis situations 
  • Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • Experience in Loss & Prevention will be an advantage 
  • Must possess own transportation (preferably a car) 
  • Required to travel within southern region on short notice 
  • Computer literacy at least in Office 365 
  • Preferably someone with working experience in Warehousing, Courier Service, Logistic & etc
