What You'll Do
  • Architect to join our growing team .
  • In this role, you will be working closely with the product teams to build upon and
  • enhance the capabilities of our existing AWS cloud platform, which powers our consumer products.
  • As part of this role, you will be challenged to understand some key parts of the platform architecture and to propose, design and promote.
  • Improvements, taking a pragmatic approach and working closely with others to achieve a great outcome.
  • You will also be interfacing with the Global Security Office to identify and manage.
  • security issues and technical risks for the platform and solutions. 
  • On an ad-hoc basis, you will work directly with development teams, proto-typing solutions and

    • What You Know
  • A minimum of 5+Years of experience is required.
  • You love working with product & engineering teams to lead the architectural design for product and platform features.
  • You understand compliance, legislation, and regulations such as CCPA, CPRA, UK Data Protection Act 2018 / GDPR and PCI DSS, and broader Information Security Laws and Regulation.
  • You are a natural collaborator and mentor.
  • Bonus skills – nice-to-have but not essential:
  • Working experience on On-prem and Security on other Clouds like GCP or Azure is a plus.
  • When the occasion calls for it, you are happy to roll up your sleeves to write high-quality code alongside the engineering teams.
  • You have professional Security accreditation such as CISSPs or SABSA
  • You have experience in FCA-regulated industry.
  • You have experience creating and improving internal security standards &amp policies consumed by software engineering teams.
  • You have worked in a large organization, with a role spanning multiple business units or geographical regions.

    • Education
  • BS in Computer Science or related fields; MS preferred
