Partners with the Security Manager in the development of training for the security team, health center managers, and all other PPGP employees.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and recommend policies and procedures related to safety.  Develops safety and security training materials and tools to educate staff on the reporting and management of security issues or threats.
  • Create and deliver an annual security training plan leveraging available technology to insure all staff are prepared for a variety of scenarios.
  • Deliver security trainings for all new employees at new hire orientation.
  • Revise or develop security plans for existing and new sites by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders which addresses site specific requirements.
  • Ensure Health Center Managers are performing all monthly and annual safety tests and drills required by PPGP policy, PPFA and local government.
  • Perform semi-annual audits at each site to ensure conformance of all PPGP, PPFA and local government regulations. Monitors building first aid kits, AED’s and Emergency bags and arranges for resupply as needed.
  • Provides support to Security Manager as needed to respond to security personnel questions or concerns and serves as back-up for off-site facility monitoring.
  • Partners with Security Manager in developing and maintaining strong working relationships with local law enforcement and leverages shared technical knowledge in PPGP’s training curriculum.
  • Works with the Director of Facilities and Security and Security Manager to train and orient security staff to include mandatory trainings.

  • Education and Experience
  • Required
  • Associate’s Degree from accredited college or equivalent experience in lieu of education
  • 1-2 years experience in developing written technical training materials
  • Experience in delivering classroom and online training
  • HIPPA Experience
  • Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
