Listing Description
Undergraduate degree in intelligence studies, security studies, computer science, information technology, or other degree which includes a formal intelligence studies or research component, (or)
Minimum of 5 years experience in one or more of the following roles: Security Researcher, Cyber Threat Researcher, Cyber Crime investigations, Malware analyst, Reverse Engineering hardware/software.
Knowledge of how multiple types of malware operate and are employed against victims.
Experience using tools to extract indicators from malware.
Experience using analytic visualization and big data consumption tools.
Experience using open source and paid services for cyber threat intelligence information.
Ability to write scripts/programs to facilitate analysis.
Nice to have: Ability to read ArabicProvide open source intelligence research report in support of intelligence product provided to Symantec customers, to be consumed by both operators and executives.
Use knowledge, creativity, and research tradecraft best practices to obtain information relevant to our priority information needs.
Identify and track criminal cyber threat activities.
Conduct technical research and analysis on malware, botnets, phishing activity and critical infrastructure, etc.
