Dragos Threat Intelligence combines threat hunting, intelligence analysis, vulnerability analysis, threat detection, and malware analysis to develop content for ICS owners and operators. The work goes to customers and supports service engagements, marketing, sales, and has a high interest in the national, trade, and international media.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director to manage a team of remote threat analysts and ensure the team meets customer requirements, business objectives, and quality standards. The Director of Intelligence Analysis oversees the execution of our threat hunting and analysis efforts, ensuring that we are routinely uncovering, analyzing, and producing intelligence about the most important threats facing ICS owners and operators across multiple industries.
In addition to mission execution, you would be responsible for taking care of your team members ensuring they receive the support, direction, and growth necessary to become better people and professionals. Additionally, you would work to execute global business objectives in a fast-growing company. The Director of Threat Analysis will work closely with the VP of Threat Intelligence, Senior Director of Threat Intelligence, and other team Directors as a leadership group to establish business plans, budget, and vision for Dragos Threat Intelligence and then manage execution.
Location: Remote (US or UK)
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of remote, global, threat intelligence analysts
- Oversee and continually improve threat hunting and analysis workflows, data sources, and toolsets
- Execute regular cross-company threat hunting along with managing critical intelligence events
- Edit, review, and approve intelligence work products prior to customer delivery ensuring they meet analytic and content standards and guidelines
- Identify resource, budget, and training gaps and grow the team to execute the vision
- Build and maintain team cohesion and a positive work environment
- Maintain a training, travel, and operations budget
- Coordinate with other business units across Dragos to ensure the threat intelligence function continuously fulfills business requirements
- Collaborate across Dragos to build, maintain, and enforce proper intelligence practices and processes which enhance intelligence quality
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience
- Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity threat intelligence analysis and hunting experience
- Experience managing threat intelligence teams with proven success delivering results in fast-changing environments
- Familiarity with threat intelligence process and cybersecurity principles and technology
- Proficiency in management fundamentals and principles
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $175,000
- Base + Benefits + Equity = $315,000

- Equity at Dragos is quickly growing and the total compensation under-represents the future growth and refresh program. This will be discussed on the first call with the Dragos recruiter.
