Maltego is an all-in-one platform used globally by industry experts, analysts, and law enforcement agencies to help secure the internet, protect organizations and individuals against cyber-crime, and support complex investigations across a diverse spectrum of use cases, teams, and functions.
As an Account Executive (m/w/d), you will be responsible for managing and growing a designated territory, identifying and closing net-new enterprise business, fostering relationships with key customers, and providing guidance and support to ensure customer success. You will serve as the primary point of contact for prospects within your territory, understanding their technical and business needs, and aligning company solutions to meet those needs. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical expertise, and relationship-building skills.
What to expect
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct and manage full sales-cycle process including detailed discovery, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and close.
- Target accounts with >$500M to unlimited revenue for assigned territory
- Commitment to continually building a pipeline of enterprise sales opportunities via prospecting alongside your sales development partner(s).
- Ensure successful implementations by coordinating with Sales Engineering resources.
- Tracking activity and sales progress daily on Salesforce.com.
- Be accountable for your forecast and actual performance.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with existing customers within the designated territory, understanding their business objectives and solving their business challenges.
- Support revenue growth within the territory by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, providing feedback and insights to help improve products and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position company solutions in the marketplace.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools.
- Proven track record in senior level sales, in the technology sector, with a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience, focused on Enterprise Customers, cybersecurity background. Ideally experienced in software sales, although services will be considered.

- Ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and articulate solutions effectively.
- Ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive customer satisfaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed. This is a pan-European role.
- Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree educated.
